The host had some of the worst hospitality I've had on PeerSpace. I had an issue with my budget, just 4 hours after I submitted the booking I asked to reduce the time by 2 hours, they wouldn't, even though the booking was a month out. Plenty of notice to rebook that time. It just came across as very greedy and they didn't care about being accommodating for me. Once there the location and site rep (different person) were both great, but the initial communication left a bad taste in my mouth, I ended up having to pay for that unneeded 2 hours out of my own rate.

Before our shooting date, I visited the location; I raised a few concerns to the booking agent. I was not asking for anything crazy; a good dusting and sweeping of the floor would have sufficed. When my crew and I arrived, it became apparent that no effort to clean the location was made as debris such as copious amounts of dust, leaves, and rusty nails were visible on the floor. Neither my crew nor I found this to be the biggest deal-breaker; we carried on. However, when it came time to use the set, we discovered that critical parts of the set were falling apart. One door, crucial to our shoot, was the biggest issue. At the slightest touch, it would fall off the hinges. It may seem like a minor issue, but the door with the latch was one of the main reasons we booked this location. Again, it became evident that the set received little to no maintenance. We raised our concerns to the property manager on-site that day, who seemed more concerned about ensuring we would wrap up and be off the property by our scheduled time than dealing with the problem at hand. They asked numerous times during the time slot and even interrupted us during takes; they acted as if we did not have four hours left in our prenegotiated time slot. I want to say this is an excellent place for a filmmaker on a budget, but based on what we paid, this place should be in immaculate shape.

It was an excellent, and very professionally-ran space. Robert, the onsite rep who hosted us, was incredibly gracious and helped ensure our shoot went as smoothly as possible.
