Welcome to the Howe Ranch, a 4-acre veteran-owned farm that offers multiple outdoor venues where you can host private special occasions, farm animal encounters and farm tours, with panoramic views of the Temecula Valley and SoCal mountains. We have a combined 30-year history of high-end, meticulous event production, including large civic events, galas and receptions involving elected officials, countless private celebrations, festivals, and custom themed events. PREPARING YOUR EVENT SPACE RESERVATION CHECKLIST By reaching out to us you confirm that you have read through the following checklist (1. - 9.) and completed your test inquiry here: 1. OUR COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE: At Howe Ranch, we dedicate ourselves year-round to maintaining this beautiful property and caring for over 30 farm animals, ensuring that everything is perfect for your special events. Our venue, along with our built-in services and insurance, is priced to reflect the quality and effort we put into every detail. 2. BEFORE CONTACTING US, WE ASK THAT YOU: Enter Event Details: Input the date on which you want to host an event at Howe Ranch, start and end times, estimated number of guests, and any add-ons. This will provide your complete booking cost at Howe Ranch, inclusive of insurance, venue, and service fees. You cannot remove any items to reduce rental costs (Reference "What is Included in the Rental Fee" sheet in photos here). Time is very valuable to us, because we work seven (7) days a week. Seek Clarification When Needed: Should you have questions after reviewing the venue details, Add-Ons, and photos in this listing or on our site, please reach out for clarification. We aim to assist with queries not already addressed in our provided information to ensure your planning process is seamless. 3. UNDERSTANDING OUR PRICING: When you choose our venue, you are investing in an experience that is supported by relentless dedication and hard work. We kindly ask that when you make a test booking and choose our venue, you enter your date, maximum number of guests, the time your first guest arrives and when your last guest leaves, and that you respect the clearly stated prices. We work tirelessly every day of the year to provide a pristine and welcoming environment for your celebrations. Please understand that our prices are firm, and we do not entertain negotiations. This ensures fairness and allows us to continually offer the best experience possible to all our guests. 4. PROFESSIONAL EXPECTATIONS: Valuing Time: We appreciate timely responses, especially after we have provided detailed information or answered queries. This helps us manage our schedules effectively, given our daily commitments to maintaining our farm and caring for our animals. Professional Communication: We expect all interactions to be conducted with professionalism. This includes clear, respectful communication and adherence to agreed-upon terms. Disclaimer: We reserve the right to discontinue communication or adjust service offerings if these standards are not met. This policy ensures that we can continue providing the best possible experience to all our guests while respecting the effort and resources that go into preparing our venue. 5. EVENT VENUE HIGHLIGHTS: * Fully Customizable Outdoor Event Spaces: Ceremony & Festival Area, Valley View Area, Barn Area, Pool Area, with two large concrete areas for dance/banquet/reception/catering. Banquet tables, chairs and table linen are included for free in events when you host an event with 50+ guests and can be added at low cost for smaller events. Event supplies, such as tents, sound, etc. are available Add-Ons. * Event with 50+ guests: Up to 2 Event Areas can, optionally, be included in your booking, pending availability on your event date and time. We will reserve the spaces for you once you have booked your date, time and number of guests here. Selecting just one venue does not reduce the price for your booking. * With an event of under 50 guests, you can add on additional Event Areas and the Club Room for a discounted reservation fee (go to Add-Ons). 6. HOW TO TOUR HOWE RANCH: We get requests to see the venues every day and are unable to provide daily tours due to our work and animal care commitments. However, we can offer Video tours by appointment with an approved budget. Alternatively, to tour the venues you can book a Farm Animal Encounter Site Tour by going to our website. 7. TYPES OF EVENTS: You can host gatherings of the nature of staff retreat, farm tour, farm experience, farm animal encounter, yoga with goats, Military retirement ceremony, yoga & wellness retreat, photo shoot with farm animals or with rural backdrop, graduation party, bar mitzvah, proposal, bridal shower, film shoot, birthday party, commitment ceremony, baby shower, gender reveal party, coming out party, Quinceanera, family reunion, company holiday party, or an ad hoc dinner party with the book club. For Wedding, visit our Wedding Event Listing. Note: Sound must not be heard past the property line, and music cannot be amplified past 9:00 p.m. 8. DISCOUNTS: Members of the Military (Active/Retired), 501 (c) Charity, or Government organizations can request a 10% discount off of the venue fee. For Repeat Venue Use Contract we might also have a discount, depending on the terms. 9. OUTDOOR VENUE DETAILS: Howe Ranch is situated in the exquisite, rural foothill community of Wildomar Estates, which is adjacent to Bear Creek golf course and La Cresta in the Temecula Valley/Santa Rosa Plateau area, conveniently located just three minutes from the I-15 freeway. The owners have over the past three years created a unique event space that effortlessly combines rustic beauty and natural elegance for the most memorable events, while promoting unforgettable visual and hands-on experiences, affordability and a fun, luxurious and safe environment for adults and kids alike. Petting Zoo and Panoramic Views: Nestled in a picturesque rural location, our venue boasts panoramic mountain and city views, and an abundance of unique settings throughout the ~ four-acre property. The ranch is home to a growing herd of farm animals, including mini cows from Scotland and Australia, white Austrian Baroque donkeys, three breeds of mini goats, ducks, chickens, and bunnies. A guided farm tour and farm animal encounter is included in your private event booking. Guests can make memories in our four signature areas: A. The Ceremony & Festival Area - Capacity 150: This space has hosted private ceremonies, live music, our "Harvest Retreat" fall festival, the annual Christmas market and Winter Wonderland, and Summerfest with public servants who work in emergency response and disaster; baby showers, petting zoo, and team building events with stunning views of Temecula Valley and Palomar Mountain. Adjacent is a large, concrete multipurpose venue that can accommodate banquets and a dance area for up to 150 guests. Enjoy stunning views from this area, which also features a multi-use concession stand and two natural ceremony arches and backdrops. Guests arrive via a meandering path walking through a carefully curated garden, adorned with blooming flowers, lush foliage, and mature trees. The gentle whispers of a fountain accompany your footsteps, creating a soothing melody that harmonizes with the soft rustling of leaves. B. The Pool Area and Adjacent Multi-Purpose Space - Capacity 150: This venue has hosted hundreds of guests since we restored the property to a modern farmstead in 2021. You will enjoy complete privacy and panoramic views of four mountain ranges from Los Angeles to San Diego, and city lights from Temecula to Lake Elsinore. The resort-style pool area is furnished with two large cabanas, lounge and dining spaces, plus a large adjacent concrete venue that can accommodate banquet tables and a dance floor for up to 150 guests. Included are a sitting area with a TV that features sports channels, a bar area, and a shower. Some of its add-on features are a club room, dedicated BBQ station, the club room, which can be rented as an add-on (pending availability). Kids love spending hours in the large pool, which features floaties, toys and lights at night. The soda bar has also been a big hit with our younger guests. On hot summer days, our adult guests love the margherita bar, and the jacuzzi for 10 at night. For a corporate event, we recommend the rustic wine bar set up poolside. Please inquire ahead of time about Add-Ons such as bars and bar-tending service. C. The Valley View Area - Capacity 60+: This venue is a large patio area furnished with rustic wine barrels and lined by Mediterranean hardscape and foliage. The venue overlooks the equestrian center, barns, adjacent pastures with livestock and the distant Temecula valley and mountain ranges. This space is ideal for dinner parties, sunset soirées and golden hour receptions. D. The Barn Area - Capacity 150 - Available on Sundays and Weekdays, generally not on Saturdays Features a large multi-purpose space for reception/dance floor use and 80 X 40 ft sand area that features picnic tables, games, and a fire pit. This is a popular space for birthday parties, petting zoo events, and large receptions with the rustic backdrop of the animal barn. Inquire about Sunday Venue Special at the Barn Area. ***** Farm Animal Encounter: Meet Buttercup, or mini Highland-Galloway steer, Flint, our Australian lowline Angus calf, Annie and Ms Elsie, the white Austrian Baroque Donkeys, and our herd of 9 mini goats, plus the English Lop bunnies, our flock of friendly chickens of 10 different breeds and Pekin ducks. The farm offers a petting zoo and Farm Animal Encounter, which is included in your special event.
