About the Space
The Jewel has a 4-poster, queen-sized bed and numerous plush pillows. Above the bed is a crystal light fixture and a ceiling covered in swirls of colored fabrics. Everywhere you look you'll see different textures, colors and shapes. The cozy sitting nook has two high-backed chairs and is a perfect place for palm reading or for a romantic nightcap; it has two different LED light fixtures that you can set to any color you like. Plates, bowls, cups and cutlery included in the room. The large mirror next to the bed makes the space look larger-than-life. Great space for photo shoots, though natural light is limited to one north-facing window.

Our lot has 8 designated parking spaces. If the lot is full, there is overflow parking available at Perkins Restaurant.

Lighting description
There is one small window on the north-facing wall. It comes with a light-blocking blind and a blackout curtain.
Space is not soundproof
Ambient noise description
This room is located inside a small inn, and the room itself was built in 1904. As a result, the floors squeak, and you will be able to hear anyone who walks by or talks outside the room. That being said, the inn only has 5 rooms total, and most overnight guests do not move around much during the day. Noise from outside is very minimal.

Equipment loading description
Equipment will need to be carried from a parking space unless prior arrangements have been made. There are stairs to the entrance, and this space is on the top story (2.5 stories up). There is not an elevator.
Staging area is available
There is a bathroom located near The Jewel that can be used for brief periods, but note that it is shared with other people in the building.
Some rooms are off-limits for shooting
The Oasis on Eisenhower is home to 5 unique, rentable rooms; you only have access to the room(s) you've rented. If you want access to the lobby area, please reach out in advance.
Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed
Electrical system description
There is a power strip for 5 cords and another regular wall outlet open for use. This space is in an old home and will not handle power-intense equipment. The circuit breaker is in the basement, which is off-limits to you; if a breaker flips, you'll need to contact the onsite manager.

General Rules
No smoking inside.
No unmaking the bed (lying on top is okay).
Quiet hours between 10 PM and 6 AM.
Let us know in advance if you plan to eat/drink in the room.
If you re-arrange anything in the room, please put it back where it belongs before you leave.

Security cameras and recording devices
We have security cameras in our lobby and monitoring our outdoor spaces, including the parking lot and swim spa area. There are NO security cameras in any of the hotel rooms or bathrooms.
Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Health and Safety Measures
We clean all bedding in between overnight guest stays and disinfect all surfaces anytime anyone has rented the space for any reason.
Enhanced cleaning measures:
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
