The design of the house is spectacular - striking modern, industrial design, and high ceilings inside; outside a 720 sq. ft. patio garden with a pergola which is illuminated with fairy lights at night. The living room has a dining room table that seats 8-10 as well as additional seating at the couch by the fireplace. Kitchen is modern with top of the line appliances and bar seating for 5 as well as banquette seating for an additional 5. There is a BBQ and a fire pit table in the garden as well as a table that seats 8. Additional table and chairs can be loaned. I bought this house in 1996 and completely rebuilt it in 2003. It's surrounded by lush community gardens on three sides so it's truly an oasis in the city. Ideal space for a variety of events including mixers, dinner parties, cocktail parties, baby showers, small weddings, graduation parties, birthday parties, corporate events, off-sites, fund-raisers. When booking please make sure you allow yourself enough time to get the space ready for your event + time to break down and leave the house in good shape. Overtime is charged at time and a half. For bookings of over 8 hours a 20% discount is applied.
