About the Space
Wisdom Sanctuary is a 200 acre wild nature eco-preserve in the Sierra Nevadas, 40 minutes from Nevada City, CA. It is a magical portal that is harmonizing to body, mind and spirit. The land is inviting, private, and is part of a long-term developing retreat center. We are surrounded by thousands of areas of the Tahoe National Forest and 5 miles from Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park. The space is perfect to host a variety of group workshops, retreats, ceremonies, gatherings, weddings, etc. The workshop/gathering space could be in our largest cabin, either of our large outdoor decks, in our 26 foot diameter tipi, or at our campground. We have 5 cabins + a developing lodge/bunkhouse: Trinity - studio Shamballa - 2 bedrooms, 1 futon Geronimo - 2 bedrooms Serenity - 2 bedrooms Radiance - 3 bedrooms, 1 futon (professional kitchen - hub for meals, catering) Lodge - 3 bedrooms (Room A has 5 single beds, Room B has 1 queen + futon, Room C has 1 queen + 1 single) **Every cabin has a woodstove inside. In addition, we have the Maidu Park Campground with 20 campsites. Cabins vary in terms of luxury vs. rustic, depending on what one prefers. For example, Radiance Cabin has its own hot water, while the other cabins are a 1 minute walk to hot showers and toilets. We are an eco-preserve in the wild, so we have fresh air and abundant nature everywhere. Cabins and facilities are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
Cancellation Policy
Standard 30-day
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and seven days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than seven days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn More
