About the Space

The Dollhouse was designed to be as nostalgic, creepy, and cheesy as the 1980s. One side of The Dollhouse mimics a teenager's bedroom, while the other is a murderous, doll-filled dungeon. Utilize this space for your next film, music video, or photoshoot to give your content a nostalgic - and terrifying - edge! Located in Wicker Park, this unique space has a neighborhood to match. The Dollhouse is within walking distance of Wicker Park's best restaurants, bars, cafes, and the Damen and Division Blue Line trains. The Dollhouse is available weekdays. Weekend bookings available by special request. Two hour booking minimum. By renting our facility, guests acknowledge that they are using a public space at their own risk, and take full responsibility for their personal health. I am a firm believer that wedding days should come with a photographer that takes stress off your plate rather than adding to it, that family and portrait sessions should be fun - not stressful, and that newborn sessions should be beautiful and safe! I promise you that you will only here me say “cheese” during your family’s session if your kids just asked me what my favorite food is. You also won’t see me get frustrated or impatient with your newborn who may not want to immediately settle for me. That’s so normal, and completely okay. If anything, it’s to be expected! As a mom, I understand that kids (and babies) need to have the space to be themselves in order to get the best shot. Please know that we require all guests to wear masks while on site, with the sole exception of talent while on camera. We also ask that each guest provide proof of vaccination or a negative covid test upon arrival. We can accept at home tests. Neither Escape Artistry, nor any staff members, will be held personally liable for outcomes regarding the health of our visitors. If you, or any member on your team, are showing symptoms of COVID, please get in contact with us. We will try our best to work with you and rearrange your booking. If your team requires masks, you can purchase them on site at $10 each. These reusable fabric face masks are made by our friends at Artists' Resource Mobilization. Guests may cancel their Booking until seven days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between seven days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price.
