About Surry Arts and Events at the Barn
The space can have seating for approximately 100 people. It has a small balcony and tiered seating as well as a sizable stage. It also features a small barn area, 3 entries or exits, 2 bathrooms, excellent acoustics, a steinway grand piano as well as 2 other pianos, a drop down screen, speakers system and LCD projector. There's has been a wide range of events at the barn, concerts, small theater productions, small weddings, puppets and marionettes, catered dinners, art exhibitions and auctions, poetry readings, etc. The barn is an ideal rehearsal space, great for photo and video ops, and a range of gatherings such as birthday parties, family gathers, seminars, company events, workshops and retreats. The barn and surrounding ground are located within a 5 minute walking distance to beautiful Morgan Bay and hiking trails. The grounds have featured outdoor tent gatherings and have excellent views of the mountains of Acadia National Park.

We follow all state of Maine guidelines, and do our very best to be part of the solution, not the problem. During 2020 we had 18 events at the barn with distancing and masks. One of the outdoor events had more than 90 people, many people were impressed by how it was handled, and nobody complained or reported illnesses.
Cancellation Policy
Flexible
Guests may cancel their Booking until seven days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between seven days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn More
