Looking to shoot something magical in the forest, not too far from LA? You’ve found the perfect spot. This privately owned 35-acre property in Crestline, California offers beautiful, untouched forest, cedar trees, massive oaks, a meadow, a long private paved road with no other cars, and an old 1800's cabin. I manage the land for my dear friend that owns it, an 80-year-old woman. While my house isn’t located directly on the forested acreage, it’s just a short drive 5 minute away. Depending on scheduling, you may also have access to the house itself for exterior shots, kitchen use, or other rooms. Most people simply use it as a basecamp for makeup, wardrobe, charging, bathrooms, and food breaks. The land it's self does not have access to bathrooms or power. If you are planning to use a generator it must remain on the pavement (fire risk on the brush). Please bring fire extinguishers. When you book, I’ll be onsite to guide you to the best places to park and shoot on the land, making sure you get the most out of this unique, cinematic location. This is my full-time home, so I’ll be available at the basecamp throughout your shoot. I’m also available to be hired as an extra hand on set. I have experience with cinematography, lighting, producing, and more. **Absolutely no fires of any kind, no smoking, no smoke bombs, we are in a super high risk, dry dead fire zone.
