Just a short drive from local secluded beaches and national parks, this unique blend of farm, beach and riverfront bliss is the perfect place to turn moments into memories. ** PLEASE NOTE ** Please don’t book this property if you are considering a large group party. This is not a party house. The Farmhouse is about experiencing a relaxing / peaceful getaway. The space Step outside this pavilion-style modern farmhouse and you’ll be met with the immense natural beauty of picturesque acres easing to the local riverfront. Boasting the most incredible views from its wrap-around verandahs, the relaxed, modern farmhouse is perfect for settling in at golden hour as the sun meets the horizon or cosying up by the fire pit as the kids come in from playing hide and seek in the paddock. You can take a stroll down to the private jetty/pontoon where you can throw a line in or jump in one of our canoes or the farmhouse tinny and explore along the river. Do you enjoy a lazy Sunday..... here at the Farmhouse we offer a late checkout of 3pm which is included in your weekend rate so there is no need to rush. A perfect place to elope or get ready with the bridesmaids before your big day, the timeless setting is one designed for the most memorable experiences. *Please inform us if you intend to use our space for a professional photoshoot opportunity or for an elopement. Additional rates may apply. Wander through the stunning roller barn door to reveal the home’s not-so-hidden delights – huge exposed beams, unique spotted gum floors and an array of reclaimed vintage pieces. The atmosphere is tranquil and relaxed, you can finally breathe in as you escape from the hustle of day-to-day life. Designed to be shared with your family and friends, the house is split into two wings, separated by our large communal area. We have a separate loft area with games and activities, from table tennis to gym equipment, it’s all here for you at the farmhouse hideaway. Enjoy water skiing? - your welcome to bring your own boat (boat ramp located just mins away at Bohnock boat ramp). Thinking of organising a retreat or girls weekend away - onsite activities such as pampering packages, yoga, macrame lessons can be arranged ahead of time. We all dream of a place to make memories with our loved ones. Whether it’s staying up late, slowing the pace or running barefoot through the grass, this truly is a place to relax, unwind and bunker in. Our vast outdoor acreage is perfect for bringing the horses, and long morning walks. Bedrooms Envelope yourself in the crisp, crushed linen sheets as you nod to sleep. Our beautiful farmhouse sleeps up to 16 guests, 10 adults and 6 children/ teenagers. Each room curated for a relaxing stay. Inside, you’ll find four king-size bedrooms, two bunk beds (one room for four kids) and the loft – a large space that is home to one king bed and a pull out sofa bed. (The loft is complimentary when booking the whole house.) A couple of extra guests? Bring them along… our “Me Time Quarters” is a separate, self-contained space that sleeps two. This homely addition boasts its own private verandah, one king-sized bedroom, lounge room/kitchen and bathroom. Perfect for that extra bit of privacy! These cosy quarters can be booked as an add-on to the main farmhouse (it cannot be booked separately) and is perfect for couples, or if you’d just like a little more space. Bathrooms Rise with the sun and wander to the ensuite style bathroom attached to the main guest room, which has a stunning traditional bath overlooking the green pastures, a grand double basin and separate toilet. Our beautiful farmhouse also has one full bathroom in the main house, an additional powder room and a separate laundry. Love Nature? You can shower under the stars with your very own outdoor bathing experience. Secluded for ultimate privacy, you can unwind each evening in our refreshing rain shower, or sink into one of our stunning outdoor roll-top baths. You’ll be blown away by spectacular views across the paddocks. A truly beautiful place to relax and bathe. **PLEASE NOTE**the Farmhouse is NOT the place for a schoolies parties/weekend. We appreciate bookings from guests over the age of 22. It is NOT a party house for large groups Guest access Easy to access, the property is mainly flat. Parking is located on the gravel driveway – just off a tar-sealed road. There is ample parking on the driveway. We kindly ask that you do not park on any of the grassy areas. Other things to note We do have a small bridge nearby connecting our island to the neighbouring island, Mitchells Island. You may hear some trucks (mainly dairy trucks) passing over from time to time. It’s part of Island life! A truly authentic experience, Farmhouse on Oxley is a working farm so you may see our friendly farmhand tending to livestock on the odd occasion.
