About The DC Arts Center
Our intimate 41-seat black box theater, founded in 1989, provides an essential platform for local, national, and international theatre groups, musicians, and performance artists. Perfect for intimate performances, the theater is a rough but ready space with lights, sound, and a modest backstage. The projection equipment is located in the theatre. Full-length plays eligible for Helen Hayes nominations, find-your-own-venue Capital Fringe performances, monthly showcases, poetry readings, stand-up comedy, improv shows, independent film screenings, album release parties, and anything else people will sit down and watch are presented in our theater. Our space can also be rented for rehearsals, meetings, events, auditions, and photoshoots. The gallery space features two galleries DCAC's Main Gallery and Nano Gallery. A 45" TV monitor is available and AirPlay capable to stream music or present a presentation/video component.

Cancellation Policy
Standard 30-day
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and seven days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than seven days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn More
