Our studio is a creative community space, located in a large historic industrial warehouse with tons of natural light, white walls, and beautiful 13' windows that look towards the Bay. The natural light is great between sunrise up to 2 hours before sunset. You can use the curtains or v flats to diffuse or block the harsh light out of the studio. The space you see in most photos is a 330 square/ft room with white walls and incredible natural light. There's a separate 440 square/ft room in the studio where props are stored. You can use this room as a getting ready space or for staging. During your rental, you and your guests will have access to the whole studio. But if you need privacy to get ready, we encourage you to use the restrooms. The studio is perfect for photoshoots, video production, intimate events, intimate performances, fundraisers, and workshops. ACCESSIBILITY + PARKING: There is unmetered street parking, loading dock, a freight elevator, and carts if you're bringing in heavy things. Street level to lobby is NOT wheel chair accessible. There’s about 5 steps on the staircase up from the street to the lobby level. The building has an old freight elevator with heavy doors to help you access the studio floor. AMENITIES: - backdrop stand - seamless backdrops (NOT setup for you and available as an add on) - 2 regular tripod light stands (NO lights) - 1 camera tripod for DSLR - long mirror - vanity table and mirror with LED light - extension cables - iPhone charger - speaker - clothing rack - steamer - industrial fan - heater - 2x vflats (black and white) - sink - 1 folding table - 1 red rolling table - 1 black table (usually used for vanity but can flex) - assortment of chairs/stool styles - women and men’s restroom - nudity is allowed for creative expression, NO sexual activity If you add a seamless backdrop to your booking, YOU are responsible for the setup and clean up.
