Refuge is an event space that can be rented for workshops, classes, and celebrations. The main space: The Room of Expansion is a small ballroom (~600ft2) in the backside of the building adjoining the private courtyard. It boasts 16’ ceilings, a small kitchenette, and cozy loft space (known as The Cloud). Breakout rooms: There are two cozy smaller rooms (~8’x10’) with plush carpets and Moroccan-style poufs creating relaxing lounge environments. Versatile room: The room of versatility This rectangular room (~7’x11’) is perfect for a coat room, food set up, or an additional breakout room. Courtyard: A charming 1,000ft2 enclosed courtyard is between the main building and the carriage house. The warm edison bulb lighting, flowering trees, and many potted plants create an inviting atmosphere for a celebration. Carriage house apartment: On the second floor of the carriage house there is a studio apartment full of bright paintings, board games, tea and coffee set up and everything else you may need on a getaway making it feel like your home away from home. Renters may book the apartment for themselves or guests as part of their event.
