About the Space
Center for Yoga is the premier studio on the west coast, and one of the top studios in the US. We are committed to excellence in teaching, service to our community, and meeting our students where they are to support their personal growth. Center for Yoga first opened in the 1920s as a Masonic Temple, then became Fred Astaire's dance studio in the 1960s, until finally becoming Center for Yoga in 1979 the architecture and old Hollywood charm is second to none.
Center for Yoga serves the greater LA Area, including Hollywood, West Hollywood, Silver Lake, Echo Park, Downtown, DTLA, Burbank, North Hollywood, Studio City, Koreatown, Culver City, USC, & UCLA.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
At the Center For Yoga (CFY) our top priority is the safety of our students, teachers, and staff. Given that the California COVID emergency order ended on February 28, 2023, we take the following measures to ensure a safe experience for everyone practicing or working in our studio.
Vaccinations are no longer required: As of March 1, 2023, we do not need to see your vaccination status, but all teachers and staff have been fully vaccinated. Anyone is welcome to wear a mask if they want, but they are not required. Our policy may change in the future, as regulations change.
New HVAC System and New Fans: All studios have new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems with disease resistant filters. New fans are installed in each room.
Studio Class Size Limits: We encourage students to space their mats out in the room. Students need to register online in order to secure a guaranteed place in class.
Touchless Sign-in System: All students will be asked to present their sign-in bar code, either on their phone or keytag, to a staff member prior to entering the class.
Touchless Water Refill System: New filtered water will be available on both the second and third floors for refilling water bottles. We suggest you bring your own bottle or purchase one in the store. We will no longer be selling single serving bottled water.
Cleaning and Sanitization: All spaces will be deep cleaned and sanitized regularly with SPS approved disinfectants. Floors will be mopped following each class. Sanitizer stations will be located throughout the public spaces and studios for student use and prop cleaning.
Fresh Air: All windows and doors that face the outside will be open during classes to promote continuous air circulation.
Student Health Screening Policy
All students will be required to sign a health declaration before your first visit to acknowledge you are fit and healthy to practice.

Flexible
Guests may cancel their Booking until seven days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between seven days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn More
