Daylight studio, Victorian Industrial Textile factory, Loft space, Kitchen Studio

The studio occupies 4000 sqft on the top floor of a Victorian Textile factory at the heart of Leicester Golden Mile just two miles from Leicester train station. Parking is available on-site at no extra cost. The original factory lift is still in use and is available for unloading. The main studio is lined with the original Victorian windows on either side to the East and West providing stunning sunsets and great light even on dull days. The back wall measures 7.5m across and is finished in bare plaster for a naturalistic look. Background brackets sit above should you wish to use paper rolls. Electrical sockets run over the head on both sides of the space. The space is home to our collection of vintage and modern designer furniture as well as our ever-growing houseplant collection all of which you are welcome to use in your shoot. If you require a clear empty space this can be arranged. Available facilities include a kitchenette, toilets, trestle tables, and rails. The kitchenette runs along an internal wall stretching 6m long that faces into the main studio making it an ideal backdrop. It features 1970s yellow Formica cupboards, modern white countertops, a bare plaster wall, and a turquoise Kandya dinette set.
