About The Venue at 1010

This industrial chic space has had many different purposes in the past, such as a tobacco processing warehouse in the 1900s, an innovation academy, and even a nightclub once upon a time. We have preserved the building's historic charm while making updates to transform the space into an open-concept all-purpose event venue. Ideal for weddings, nonprofit events, galas, and large gatherings of any kind, this space has endless possibilities. Booking of space includes a ballroom area, men's and women's public restroom, access to catering room, optional FREE use of 42 tables (60-inch round), and 350 accompanying conference chairs (pictured). The rental of the venue also includes "The Study," which is perfect for photography, break-out groups, or just as additional relaxation space. We also have 4 8-foot long tables available to use at no additional charge. We include the use of our stage as well. As with the other furniture, the renter is required to fully assemble and fully disassemble after the event and return to the storage room, unless otherwise noted by the host. The stage is separated into pieces that measure 4 x 8. There are 18 available pieces that can be configured as you choose. We also have 3 sets of stage steps and a removable stage skirt. Catering room includes: warming shelves, sink, and refrigerator. Please note this is not a full kitchen. It is intended for prep purposes, not for cooking. We currently have a loading dock for set-up/take-down access, and a wheelchair-accessible ramp and elevator. ****We have updated our minimum hours required (especially for weddings) to 16 hours from our previous rule of 8 hours. We chose to do this after having several weddings and events in our space and learning how long it actually takes to have a major event. Guests can use some of that 16 hours to set up the day before and/or take down the day after. We are are starting this rule beginning October 21st, 2025. If you have BOOKED before this date, you only have to abide by the 8-hour minimum if you choose. Additional set-up and take-down hours may be added to your reservation once you have booked the space at a rate of $150/hr. if the 16 hours is not enough. If you are interested in touring the space for an upcoming wedding, please have your wedding coordinator/planner reach out to us to schedule. All tables and chairs are located in a storage room down the hall, and you are required to retrieve furniture from this room (dollies provided) and return it back to the room after your event--if you choose to use our free furniture. We strongly suggest hiring someone to assist in setting up/putting away tables and chairs. All chandeliers are on a dimmer and all other lighting on motion sensor switches. You must use a licensed bartender, and have a security guard per every 100 people. We have a tuned Grand Piano available for use at the rate of $100 per event. It must be played by a qualified pianist. All add-ons include an added Peerspace fee, as well as Kentucky Sales tax. *If stated rules below are not followed, or if renter fails to clean up all trash/food/boxes, a $500 charge may be added onto you reservation after the event for incidentals without warning.

We have the space thoroughly cleaned between bookings. Surfaces, floors, and bathrooms will always be tended to.

Cancellation Policy

Standard 30-day

Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and seven days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than seven days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn More

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
