Upstairs at Gladwell’s is a brand new multi-purpose space available for private hire and events. Located on the first floor of Gladwell’s, the luxury deli and grocery store situated in a Grade 11 listed art nouveau building in the heart of Camberwell, the 600 sq ft light-filled space is ideal for celebrations, Christmas parties, book launches, supper clubs, photography, filming and more. Catering, coffee and refreshments are available from the cafe and deli and can be organised in advance. Beer, wine and cocktails are also available, meanwhile external alcohol can be negotiated prior to the event. Power, wifi, and full sound system with mic input available - all screens, projectors and other audio visual equipment needs to be provided. Access to the kitchen is available for preparing or finishing dishes (no shallow or deep-frying), with 13 amp sockets (no three phase equipment to be used) and 2 rational ovens plus 2 inductions hobs available for warming through (extraction isn’t included). Gladwell’s is 10 minutes walk from Denmark Hill Station and 20 minutes from Oval tube with good bus routes. Paid parking is also available locally. Full day hire from £500 + VAT, or £100 per hour (2hrs minimum.)

Guests may cancel their Booking until seven days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between seven days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price.
