About Wildfires Bookshop

Our literary lounge is a cozy, versatile space that can be used for workshops, community events, urban work retreats, team meetings, celebrations, photo shoots, networking events, and more! This space is an extension of Wildfires Bookshop where we hold many of our own events including author events, workshops, book club nights, film screenings, drop in lounge hours and more. Located on the "Commercial Drive" of New Westminster, we are surrounded by an eclectic community of vintage and thrift shops, art studios, collectible shops, and some of the best "mom and pop" restaurants in the city. Space is thoroughly sanitized and cleaned (with scent free products) between bookings which includes garbage and recycling removal, cleaning doors, all high touch areas, kitchen space, and washroom.

Cancellation Policy

Flexible

Guests may cancel their Booking until seven days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between seven days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn More

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
