This is a casual multipurpose space for private gatherings, game nights, film shoots, birthday parties, Tupperware parties, demonstrations, Avon ladies, art exhibits, dinner parties, tea parties, networking and mixers, and band practice/recording space. This is a 3-bedroom home with a variety of conversational spaces and rooms available for breakout. History The home was built as a cottage in 1947, back when the area was known as Turnerville and was a vacation destination. It was renovated and improved several times over the decades. Host The house has been important to me. I have maintained and modernized the space. I enjoy hosting events of all kinds. I love meeting new people and I'm excited to see what we can do! Neighborhood The neighborhood is a bedroom community surrounding a small New England lake. It has narrow windy and scenic roads. The location is in a private tax area surrounded by nature and wildlife. Logistics The house is a slightly open-concept space with a small backyard. Storage is available on-site. The patio has a privacy option. There are tables and chairs and additional seating available. The maximum number of people that we can comfortably have is 20. There is NO public transportation. 10 minutes to grocery store, gas station 25 minutes to casinos 30 minutes to Hartford, UCONN 1 hour to New Haven, the ocean 2 hours to Boston 2.5 hours to NYC Feel free to ask any questions!
