The 105 – Cyc Wall Studio Welcome to The 105, Kansas City’s newest professional cyc wall studio located in the heart of the Crossroads Arts District. Purpose-built for serious photo and video production, The 105 is designed to give you a smooth, stress-free shoot day with all the amenities you need. Space Features 2,000 sq ft U-shaped cyc wall with a 36″ seamless radius curve Finished in non-reflective “TV White” paint for perfect color accuracy Pre-lit with 8 Amaran 300c RGBWW fixtures mounted on a 15×15 lighting grid Wireless lighting control via Sidus Link on provided iPad with preprogrammed scenes Ground-level access with yellow-curb loading zone straight to double doors Full blackout capability and ice-cold air for comfort during long shoots Kitchen with coffee bar and small lounge areas Fridge and freezer access available upon request Rates $125/hr - 4 HOUR MINIMUM Overtime: $150/hr Ideal For Commercial photo and video shoots Music videos (no live drums) and creative productions Fashion, portrait, and product photography Brand and social media content Our studios are located in a beautiful historic building in the Crossroads. While the atmosphere is typically very chill, it’s important to note that we do not have full control over sound from neighboring tenants. Most days are quiet, but because the building is active, you may occasionally hear noise from other spaces. For the majority of productions this isn’t an issue, but if your project requires complete silence (such as sound recording or interviews), please keep this in mind when booking. In addition, because there are other tenants, we have to provide the same courtesy and keep the volume at a reasonable level.

Our Cleaning Process At Wreckcreation Co. Studios, we maintain our spaces at a professional standard so every client walks into a fresh, shoot-ready environment. Here’s what we do before each booking: Cyc Wall Reset – The cyc wall is freshly repainted or touched up to ensure a clean, seamless background with no scuffs or markings from the previous session. Floor Cleaning – Hard surfaces are swept and mopped, and rugs are vacuumed. Floors in high-traffic or cyc areas are detailed to remove any residue from set builds or props. Sanitizing – All high-touch surfaces (door handles, tables, light switches, furniture, vanity, and kitchen counters) are sanitized between bookings. Restrooms & Dressing Room – Stocked with fresh supplies and cleaned before every shoot. Trash Removal – All bins are emptied, and the space is cleared of leftover materials. For multi-day productions, we provide mid-production resets if needed, and our team is available for additional cleanup support.
Cancellation Policy
Flexible
Guests may cancel their Booking until seven days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between seven days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn More
