But with the classic neon sign straight from the 1950s blazing bright, tile-rimmed scenes of desert splendor on the exterior walls, and the original JUNGLE ROOM complete with floor to ceiling wall murals and a green Jacuzzi flanked by Adam and Eve themselves, there's more than enough vintage Vegas charm (and kitschy, fun sleaze) for anyone. The Desert Moon Motel's layout consists of 4 buildings, in two long rows, with free parking in the parking lot between them. Each room has parking directly in front. At the rear is a custom-fabricated iron gate, behind which is our two dumpsters, behind which is another custom-fabricated security gate that slides open to allow access to the alley in the rear. Talk to the on-site manager if your event requires multiple entry points or larger vehicles that need to load in from the alley. Every guest room comes standard with a plush king mattress and well-appointed furnishings. 18/31 have two-burner stovetops. We also have a gated pet area with hose and drainage and astroturf for washing your furry friend. For period pieces, some rooms have more of the original fixtures and tile than others and we'll be glad to point you to the right room for your shoot. The surrounding neighborhood is older, and doesn't look like much, but is quite safe. We've never had a single incident of random crime targeting a guest or a vehicle onsite in the 3.5 years since the current owner purchased the property. And the world-famous Fremont St. Experience is a short .6 mile (15-20 minute) walk down the street! Our rooms vary in size and you can book as many as you'll need, with advance notice.
