The Lake Ola Retreat at Mt. Dora is comprised of three lots and three homes (7 acres) with frontage on Lake Ola in NW Orange County. The hourly rate covers the whole property, whether inside the house or outside. Guests will have access to all agreed-upon available space for one hourly rate. The Old Brick Home is a two-story vintage structure built in 1931 and characterized by old windows, amazing woodworking, and a basement. This home was built in the 1940s and was recently updated and remodeled. This home is available through Airbnb for rent. Old-growth plants and trees adorn the property. Two docks, fishing, abundant wildlife, a bird sanctuary, fruit trees and flowers make the location a unique opportunity for guests to experience natural Florida in a comfortable, very private setting. The north side of the property is kept in “jungle” condition to invite more privacy and great habitat for birds. It is a “retreat” in every sense of the word. The present owners live in the Old Brick House, but the whole 7-acre property is generally accessible (except for storage and maintenance areas), including the pool during the season. Tours of the Old Brick Home are also available upon request.
