Welcome to 1775 Family Farm, a privately owned 22-acre historic estate in scenic Hunterdon County, New Jersey. Featuring an iconic red barn, rolling pastures, mature trees, a picturesque pond, and a beautifully preserved 18th-century farmhouse, the property offers a rare combination of history, natural beauty, and privacy.
Dating back to 1775, the property was once owned by William Paterson, the second Governor of New Jersey and a signer of the U.S. Constitution.
The farm provides a beautiful setting for intimate outdoor wedding ceremonies, family celebrations, milestone gatherings, bridal and baby showers, small retreats, faith-based gatherings, professional photography, and other creative experiences.
Multiple picturesque settings are available throughout the property, from the historic red barn and open lawns to peaceful wooded areas and scenic pond views. The private setting offers a memorable backdrop for meaningful gatherings and beautiful photographs.
Outdoor areas are available for approved events. A separate Carriage House with indoor amenities may be available by prior arrangement. The historic farmhouse interior is private and not included.
We welcome inquiries for outdoor wedding ceremonies and photography, but do not host full wedding receptions. Wedding ceremonies are quoted separately based on guest count and event requirements.
Free on-site parking is available, with event logistics coordinated in advance. We look forward to helping you create a memorable experience at 1775 Family Farm!
