About Sound Space

This creative studio is located in the historic Goat Farm Arts Center on Atlanta’s Westside, a 12-acre arts campus known for its industrial character and vibrant creative community. The space works well for musicians who need a comfortable place to rehearse, practice, or do light self-recording. It is especially well suited for guitar, bass, and piano players, as well as music students from nearby universities looking for a focused off-campus practice environment. The room is also a great option for podcast recording, photo shoots, or filming small video projects. The layout includes two distinct areas. The front portion of the studio features a lounge chair and open floor space that can easily accommodate a folding table for podcast setups or camera equipment. This area can also work well for interviews, photos, or simple video shoots. The back section of the room contains the desk, instruments, and music gear, making it ideal for rehearsals, songwriting sessions, or self-recording. Guests are welcome to use the guitar and bass amplifiers, electric piano/keyboard, instrument cables, desk, office chair, two folding chairs, and a lounge chair. A folding table can also be provided if needed for podcast or production setups. The studio also includes a whiteboard that can be useful for writing charts, notes, or production ideas. One of the most unique aspects of this space is its location within the Goat Farm Arts Center, a landmark creative hub that is also the new home of the Atlanta Museum of Contemporary Art. The campus has long been a destination for artists, filmmakers, musicians, and creative professionals, and the inspiring atmosphere carries throughout the property. This studio is designed for focused creative work, rehearsals, and recording projects that do not require high-volume instruments. It provides a comfortable, flexible environment for musicians, podcasters, and creators looking for a quiet place to work in one of Atlanta’s most unique artistic settings.
