Post‑Event Cleaning & Sanitizing Process
1. Initial Reset
Walk the venue to assess the condition and identify any spills, damage, or high‑priority areas.
Open doors/windows if possible to improve ventilation.
2. Remove Waste & Debris
Collect and dispose of all trash, recyclables, and leftover materials.
Break down and remove event décor, signage, and temporary setups.
3. Surface Cleaning
Wipe down tables, chairs, counters, bars, and equipment with general cleaners to remove dirt and residue.
Spot‑clean walls, doors, and high‑touch surfaces.
4. Deep Cleaning
Sweep, vacuum, or mop floors depending on the surface type.
Clean restrooms thoroughly: toilets, sinks, mirrors, dispensers, and floors.
5. Sanitizing
Apply an approved disinfectant to high‑touch areas such as door handles, railings, light switches, and seating.
Allow proper dwell time so the sanitizer works effectively.
6. Final Check
Inspect the venue to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
Restock supplies (soap, paper towels, restroom items).
Reset furniture layout for the next event.
