About Chi Lounge
CHI Lounge is a hidden historic venue tucked inside San Francisco Chinatown — a space suspended between old Hong Kong nightlife, American kitsch, and underground after-hours culture. Originally active decades ago before closing in 1979, the venue carries the feeling of a preserved time capsule: faded glamour, neon ghosts, layered history, and cinematic atmosphere.
Created for people who want more than a generic venue. Health and Safety Measures
To maintain the quality and atmosphere of CHI Lounge, all bookings include a structured cleaning and venue reset process.
Standard Cleaning Procedure
After each event, the venue undergoes:
Full trash removal and disposal
Surface sanitization of tables, bar areas, and high-touch zones
Floor sweeping and mopping
Restroom cleaning and restocking
Furniture reset to original layout
Inspection of lighting, decor, and equipment
Final walkthrough by venue management
Guest Responsibilities
Guests are expected to:
Remove all personal belongings, decor, and vendor materials
Dispose of excess waste in designated bins
Return moved furniture to agreed layout
Respect venue furnishings and installations
Exit within contracted booking time
Excessive mess, confetti, glitter, smoke residue, bodily fluids, or damages may incur additional cleaning or repair fees.
Cancellation Policy
Flexible
Guests may cancel their Booking until seven days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between seven days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn More
