LOCATION The studio is located downtown within walking distance to local restaurants and bars, you know, for when you get that martini shot. ARRIVAL There is a driveway that leads to a garage door for easy load-in and load-out. Street parking is available for additional vehicles. STUDIO The studio space is 4500 sq ft with a ceiling height that reaches 18’ tall. It includes a large cyc wall plus additional studio floor space for small sets (I.e. office, living room, bedroom, etc.), an editing loft, focus room, phone booth, mastering room, lounge area, kitchenette, and 2 bathrooms/changing rooms. CYC WALL The cyc wall is big enough to have almost a dozen people in frame before the edges are in frame. We have shoe covers, sticky mats, and shoe wipes to keep the wall looking white and clean. The wall can be used as is or pre-lit (if needing pre-lit, be sure to book as an add-on). And boy is it lit. Our ceiling grid for the cyc wall area includes 8x Aputure Nova II 2X1s and 10x Aputure Nova II 1X1s. And if you still need more light, we have additional lighting on combo stands to rent. PROJECTOR The Epson 8500 lumens laser projector displays a large image on the cyc wall for background effects, watching a movie, presentations, or even gaming. Along with the projector is an in-house sound system to bring your projection to life audibly or help get your models to dance. STUDIO FLOOR If you're building a set or bringing your own backdrop, there is plenty of open space to do so. This space is great for dreaming big or small when the cyc wall is too much or not enough. FOCUS ROOM From the popular company, ROOM, this small sound-dampening pod includes a motorized sit/stand desk, iMac, Apollo Twin X DUO and microphone for recording podcasts or voiceovers, and dry erase board. PHONE BOOTH Also from ROOM, the phone booth is great for taking private phone calls or if you just need a quiet place to think in between scenes. MASTERING ROOM If you’ve heard of a Flanders Scientific monitor, then you’ll know how serious we are about color when we tell you our XMP310 is the heartbeat of this room. There’s sound treatment, studio monitors for professional audio quality, and a BlackMagic Color Panel. The Mastering Room isn’t rentable, but if you would like to hire our in-house colorist, please let us know. EDITING LOFT Paros Studios has 9 in-house editors, so you may see them walking up to the loft to edit their own masterpiece, but needn’t worry, they’re completely harmless for the most part. This area isn’t rentable, but if you need on-site editing or DIT, please let us know. GEAR RENTAL Available for rent are cameras, lenses, lighting (lots of lighting), c-stands, c-stands with wheels, c-stands with arms, tripods, monitors, rigging materials, microphones, cables, power, tape, and the list goes on. If you need a one stop shop, you’ve come to the right place. KITCHENETTE After listing out everything above, a kitchenette doesn’t sound too impressive, but if you need a fridge to cool your food and drinks or 8 different ways to make a coffee, we’ve got you covered.
