This is a spacious and bright 1700 square foot apartment with ten foot ceilings; original moldings, paraquet floors, french doors, and original wainscoting. Located in a Hamilton Heights landmarked turn-of-the century Beaux-Arts building , it has already been used for seventeen successful shoots! Important to note is that it was once home to African American artists, Ralph Ellison, Marian Anderson, and Ralph Cooper, the building has a history of film/tv shoots. In the identical unit above, Louie’s CK TV show was shot for over a year. In the unit eight floors directly above this apartment “A Mouth Full of Air” with Amanda Seyfried was filmed. Many other film/TV projects have also been shot in the building. Since the apartment is located on the second floor and there are both a passenger and freight elevators, the load-in is easy. The unit may be rented for long or short projects and the furniture is available for use and may be rearranged ( if done so, with care! ) . . From the master bedroom, there is a view of Elisabeth Catlett's "Invisible Man" sculpture. There is a view of the river from several windows. Please note: there are NO longer instruments in the room as shown.
