AFM Creative Space is a 5,000-square-foot photo and video production space in Midtown Manhattan, just steps from Penn Station. Designed for commercial productions and content teams, the space offers a large, flexible open floor plan along with professional lighting equipment, a green screen, production support equipment, and multiple display options. The space is well suited for commercial video shoots, interviews, branded content, product photography, editorial shoots, social media content, livestreams, corporate video productions, and other photo and video projects. The open layout provides plenty of room for cameras, lighting setups, talent, crew, equipment, and multiple shooting configurations. A green screen setup is available for productions requiring chroma key work, interviews, product demonstrations, or digital background replacement. The venue also offers a professional Amaran studio lighting setup, including studio lights, softboxes, light stands, tripods, and other basic production equipment. Backdrop paper and additional production accessories may also be available depending on your shoot requirements. Blackout curtains allow greater control over ambient light, making the space suitable for productions that require a more controlled lighting environment. Please let us know your lighting requirements in advance so we can confirm available equipment and prepare the appropriate setup. The venue also features a large built-in LED screen and more than ten additional televisions that can be incorporated into productions for branded visuals, presentations, video playback, product demonstrations, or on-camera display content. Multi-screen setups should be discussed in advance so we can confirm screen availability, connections, and positioning. For productions requiring audio support, the venue is equipped with a professional mixing console, PA speakers, and microphones. Please contact us in advance regarding your specific audio or recording requirements so we can confirm whether the available equipment is appropriate for your production. Production support furniture includes 50 chairs and 30 folding tables with black tablecloths, which can be used for crew workstations, equipment staging, product preparation, catering, client areas, or other production needs. Customizable display shelving and dedicated storage space are also available for products, props, cases, equipment, and production materials during the booking. Freight access is available for productions bringing in larger equipment, cases, sets, or other materials and must be scheduled with us in advance. Please note that the booking includes the designated open production areas only. Offices, private rooms, and other restricted workspaces are not included in the rental. All load-in, equipment setup, production time, breakdown, and load-out must take place within the reserved booking period. Please allow sufficient time before and after your shoot for equipment setup and removal. Large productions, specialty equipment, custom sets, significant electrical requirements, specialty installations, or extensive equipment load-ins must be discussed and approved in advance.
