The main space is open plan and south facing, with four tall sash windows running almost floor to ceiling. Light moves across the room through the day soft and diffused in the morning, with strong window patterns falling across the floor by mid-afternoon. Blackout blinds are fitted if you'd rather control it yourself. Original features throughout: two carved marble fireplaces, deep cornicing, two plaster ceiling roses and two crystal chandeliers. Walls are warm white, floors are dark oak. Nothing is branded and nothing is fixed in place, so the room reads as a home, a gallery, a salon or a blank set depending on how you shoot it. A wide arch opens to a quieter area at the far end, useful as a treatment space, changing area, make-up station or a second set-up. Furniture is soft and neutral a curved bouclé sofa, a swivel armchair, marble and brass tables, a cowhide rug and a full-length gilt mirror. All of it can be moved or cleared.
