Hickory Hill Farm is 36 acres of rolling fields, old oak stands, and trails in Louisville, Tennessee. Book it for the day and the whole property is yours — no other groups, no schedule but your own.
The land. Open fields with room to spread out, a fire pit circle for the end of the afternoon, and quiet trails through the trees. Long views that change with every hour of the day.
The barn. Half of it is a finished apartment: lofted ceilings, a common room with a wood stove, a full kitchen, and a powder room. The other half is an open shop with a large sliding door onto the field — covered space that works well for folding tables when a meal outgrows the kitchen. We have tables and benches here you're welcome to use.
Good for retreats, workshops, reunions, milestone birthdays, small ceremonies, team offsites, and photo or video shoots that want land rather than a backdrop.
Worth knowing before you book: there's no amplified music here. The quiet is most of why people come, and we'd rather say so up front than disappoint you on the day. Beer, wine and seltzers are welcome; no liquor. No pets, please.
Climate. The barn has large ceiling fans throughout and a portable AC unit in the kitchen — enough to take the edge off, not enough to cool the whole building on a hot afternoon. The open shop half stays shaded and catches the breeze with the sliding door up, and there's a wood stove for the cold months. A permanent system is planned, but please don't count on it being in for your date.
