A furnished creative studio a few minutes' walk from the Cultural Centre, with two sets of bifold doors that fold right back onto an open-air courtyard.
The studio is a single open room of about 43 sqm with nothing fixed in the middle of the floor. The tables are on wheels, so a long communal table, a circle or a cleared floor takes a couple of minutes, and it is easy to set up your way. The ceiling is around 4.5 metres and left open, the floor is polished concrete, and the walls are glazed tile, so paint, clay and mess are genuinely fine here. Open the bifolds and the studio and courtyard read as one space of nearly 80 sqm, with strong north-west afternoon light.
It suits art and craft workshops, creative classes, wellbeing and community sessions, natural light content shoots, small celebrations and team planning days.
Included: tables on wheels and seating for 24 (up to 50 standing across studio and courtyard), a kitchenette with sink, bar fridge, wine fridge and microwave, air conditioning, free WiFi, and power in the floor and walls. Ground floor with level access. Toilets are in the main building, reached with a fob we provide for your booking. BYO food and drinks are welcome.
The studio is unstaffed. You let yourself in with a PIN we send before your booking, and you set up and pack down within your booked time. Art materials and easels belong to our own classes and are not included. If you are running a class or workshop for your own participants, you will need current public liability insurance.
