Supporting the Community Affected by the North Bay Fires

As a company rooted in the Bay Area, we are absolutely heartbroken to see the devastating impact that the wildfires have caused to our community in the North Bay. Our deepest sympathies are with those who have been directly affected.

We understand many people are in the difficult situation of making last minute event changes or, worse, having to rebuild their homes and businesses. We at Peerspace are committed to doing our part to help the community in this time of need.

To that end, Peerspace is waiving all processing and cancellation fees for guests who need to reschedule their events or book new venues due to the events in the North Bay. This includes both guests who had their event booked at a Peerspace location, as well as those who had another venue booked and have been forced to search for a new location. Host service fees collected from these bookings will be donated to the relief efforts.

We continue to encourage our Bay Area hosts who aren’t affected by the fires to accommodate last-minute requests whenever possible, and, to those who already have, we and the Peerspace community thank you. The Peerspace team is also prepared to offer support during this difficult time and can be contacted via email with any questions.

For anyone who would like to participate, Peerspace will be holding a fundraiser on behalf of victims at our community event on Thursday, October 18th and making a donation to the Napa and Sonoma County Fire Relief GoFundMe campaign at that time. Visit the Peerspace Fire Relief Fundraiser event page to learn more.
