About Moontower Cider Co

Tucked into an East Austin neighborhood just south of Mueller, our cidery was converted from an old historic mortuary into a production cidery and tasting room. The tasting room offers options for both standing and seated arrangements, accommodating 80 people at standing room, or 48 people in seated arrangements. Additionally, the outdoor patio, which seats 50 guests seated and accommodates more standing, is available to add on to your reservation for an additional $60 per hour. The indoor space is equipped with 12 tables, 65 chairs, two bathrooms, ample lot and street parking, complimentary Wi-Fi, a projector, sound system, and an optional walk-in cooler space. Feel free to bring your own food and drinks! If you'd like the bar to be open for cider or wine purchases from the tasting room, or if you’ll require light assistance with setup and break down, you can book a staff member for $25 per hour, without any beverage minimum. Our staff members can serve our beverages; however, any outside beer or wine can only be distributed between your group, or a third party TABC licensed bartender that you hire. Our selection includes various cider, wine, and non-alcoholic options. While we do not offer food, we are happy to provide recommendations for local caterers, restaurants, or private chefs that have previously worked in our space. For an additional $50, you can set up the PA system indoors. Pricing:  Monday-Thursday: $135 per hour for all hours (7am-12am)  Friday, Saturday, & Sunday: $145 per hour for 7am-1pm $225 per hour for 1pm-12am  All bookings have a 3-hour minimum. Set-up and break down time is included in the reservation window, so please be sure to take this into consideration when selecting a booking window. The cleaning fee is $60.

Cancellation Policy

Standard 90 day

Guests may cancel their Booking until 90 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 90 days and 14 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 14 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
