For any other type of use clients must contact us before proceeding with the booking. -Client must provide a refundable damage deposit of $500. -Alcohol consumption must be moderate, (this is not a place to get drunk) -NO smoking of any kind is allowed in the studio. -NO cooking allowed (any catering and food must be delivered already cooked and only the microwave can be used to warm food) -NO sparks or flammable objects. -NO glitter or confetti -NO Candle wax dripped on floor, furniture or other surfaces -NO nails, screws, staples or penetrating items should be used on our walls -All activity must be contained within the unit; no activity permitted in the hallways -Rescheduling your booking is only allowed within 14days prior to your booking date ———————————————————————— Damage deposit: deposit is to be paid either in Cash or e-transfer 24 hours prior to booking date, and it is refunded in full at check-out if no damage occurs. ———————————————————————— COVID-19 CANCELATION POLICY: Cancelations related to Ontario COVID-19 lockdown receive full money back at anytime. cancelations due to clients or guests testing positive for COVID-19 are not entitled to a refund. ————————————————————————- PARKING: The studio doesn't include parking but these are some options: 1) large grade-level public parking at the corner of Bay and Edward Street (right in front of the old greyhound bus terminal) 2) across the street at the Atrium on Bay (underground parking) the entrance is on Edward Street. 3) across the street at the Canadian Tire (underground parking) 4) There is also street parking on Edward st. ———————————————————————— Optional Add ons: -Lighting package: $100+tax Includes: (2x) Aputure Amaran 200x 200W Bi-Colour LED Light Kit (2x) 35” light dome soft box with grid modifier (2x)C-stands 4x sand bags -Paper Backdrops: white, nude, turquoise ($10/foot rolled out on the floor) if used on the wall only it’s free. -HD projector and 120” projector screen: $50 —————————————————- ACCESSIBILITY Although we do our best to accommodate all clients, we are not situated in a fully accessible building. We are located on the 4th floor of an old building that only has manually operated elevator access. Elevator service is available, free of charge, during normal building business hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. If elevator service is required for you or guests after 5pm or on a weekend, please notify us as soon as possible so we can assist in arranging an after hours elevator operator with the building. All after hours use requires separate billing to the building landlord’s elevator operator at a rate of $15/hr for a minimum three hour booking. Please ensure to notify us of any accessibility requirements at the time of your booking so that arrangements can be made. The elevator operator is a distinct service apart from the offerings of Canarts Media and cannot be guaranteed. ———————————————————————— ELEVATOR: -We are 4 floors up, there is an elevator manually operated by our superintendent Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. -The elevator operator is available after 5pm and on weekends for an extra cost ($15/hr) -Face masks are mandatory only inside the elevator. ———————————————————————— MINIMUM AGE: although we allow all ages, the person booking and responsible of the studio must be 21 years old or older. ———————————————————————— OVERTIME overtime will be billed in half-hour increments. The space must be vacated and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your booking reservation. ———————————————————————— CLEANING / DAMAGES although we charge a cleaning fee, we appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. Guest must remove any equipment or rentals you bring in, and you should factor this setup and teardown time in your booking hours. Please take great care of our space. All damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will be discounted from your damage deposit and/or billed to the credit card on file with Peerspace. ********Please be considerate of your booking time and make sure to leave the studio within your scheduled time, otherwise overtime fees will apply********** We do our best to accommodate our guests needs. Lighting description
5 large windows with ample natural light all day long. each window has blackout blinds when light needs to be blocked. The studio has natural white LED track lighting/spotlights throughout, most of which is RGBW allowing for multiple colours to be added and controlled from an Ipad. Most of the studio also has architectural/accent RGB LED strips controlled from ipad, allowing for maximum flexibility in terms of look, mood, and ambiance. For media productions (photography and video) we also offer a lighting package at am extra cost.

There is a alleyway right beside the front entrance facing Bay street, where cars can temporarily park to unload equipment. Guests can use the elevator to bring equipment to the 4th floor.

We are located in an old building that unfortunately doesn’t provide accesible washrooms. Also, our elevator only operates Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. After 5pm clients must pay the landlords elevator operator $15/hr to be able to work for you if the elevator is needed after 5pm or weekends. MINIMUM AGE: although we allow all ages, the person booking and responsible of the studio must be 21 years old or older. Please refer to Peerspace’s Terms and Conditions for all other rules.

We take very seriously our clients' health and safety. We take extreme care of the space and disinfect everything before and after each booking. Client contact information is taken for contact tracing.
Enhanced cleaning measures:
  • The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
  • High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
  • Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
  • Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
  • Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
  • Hand Sanitizer
The space has the following features:
  • Capacity is limited based on governmental guidelines
  • Space has been reconfigured to allow for physical distance
  • Space has access to outdoor air ventilation

This space has real wow factor, beautifully appointed with so much natural light. I found it to be better in person even than the photos. I held a group pop up sale- loved the layout, wide range of available furniture and especially the makeup/ dressing area. Darwin was a very courteous and helpful host throughout. I really appreciate the personal touch, and checking in. Highly recommend. Thanks for a wonderful event!
