The LAB @ 1010 is the performance venue inside Seattle Drum School of Music’s Georgetown campus. Seattle Drum School of Music (SDSM) has served the region’s music community for decades, and The LAB was created as an intimate 75-capacity all-ages performance venue and production space where musicians and creators can share their work.
The space regularly hosts live music performances, video shoots, livestream concerts, podcast recordings, band rehearsals, recitals, nonprofit events, and community gatherings. Designed with professional acoustics and sound quality as top priorities, the room works well for both live audiences and filmed productions.
As part of the Seattle Drum School of Music, The LAB provides a safe, welcoming, all-ages environment where both youth and adult performers can feel encouraged to perform. The venue is a non-smoking, non-drinking performance hall that supports creative events for artists and audiences of all generations.
Rental includes access to The LAB performance room with two entrances — a front guest entrance and a backstage entrance for performers and production crews — plus two ADA-accessible restrooms.
The room includes permanent seating for 20 guests with up to 50 additional chairs available, allowing flexible layouts for performances, productions, and events.
