This vintage-inspired apartment was designed for creative shoots and curated by Marcelo Mayen - photographer, filmmaker, and production designer. Every room is intentionally styled with authentic vintage props that add real production value. Renting this level of set dressing piece by piece would cost thousands; here, it’s all part of the space. What’s the vibe here? Authentic New York. Lived-in, layered with character, and just rough enough around the edges to feel believable on camera. The apartment easily passes for a 70s, 80s, or early 90s set, giving you a versatile backdrop that feels both timeless and real. Rooms: • Kitchen: Suburbia energy with lamps, vintage props, and a ready-to-shoot table setup. • Office: Rich blue wallpaper, surreal touches, a nod to my grandfather’s cigar lounge. • Living Room: Beige warmth meets bold orange couch, surrounded by carefully chosen decor. • Blue Bedroom: Barbie-blue walls, Barbie-pink nightstand…minimal as hell. Heads up: I’m always tweaking and upgrading the space, so sometimes a prop might move rooms or get swapped out for something else. The vibe you see in the photos is the vibe you’ll get, just don’t be surprised if the black phone’s on a different table. Lighting gear is not included, but rentals are available under add-ons. Additional Notes: • Bathroom use: The bathroom is available for personal use during your booking, but it’s off-limits for filming or photos. Please note, the tub is used for storage. • I share the apartment with two dogs and a cat — the space is cleaned and disinfected before each booking, and they will not be present during shoots. • Please book at least 48 hours in advance.
