Please keep in mind this is a working artists studio, so while we do our best to keep it swept and tidy for the people we share it with, it may not always be in pristine condition!

Enhanced cleaning measures:

High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Hand Sanitizer

About the Space

A natural light studio in the heart of old Cumberland, minimally styled to offer a blank canvas for your photography or content creation, while preserving its historical architectural charm. Featuring a wall of north-facing windows for consistent, diffused, natural ambient light, a small south-facing window that creates interesting patterns on the floor throughout the day, 1000 sq ft of shooting space, 12 foot ceilings, original distressed hardwood flooring, white washed walls, and a minimalist "working loft" aesthetic. The space has a collection of plants and chairs to use as props, a small change room, a large board room/work table, a reclaimed wood couch, and a giant mirror. Lighting stands and backdrop stands are also included in the rental. The studio can also accommodate small workshops, weddings and events, pop-up markets, etc.

Parking is along First St, the dirt stretch that runs the length of the lawn.

General Rules

Things to keep in mind for your rental: The building is old! The floors are original 100-plus-year-old hardwood with any protective coating long, long gone, so watch for splinters. The studio is in a building that is a mix of other studios and residences, so we are surrounded by people who have made this place their home. Please keep that thought in your mind in respect to them. Also keep in mind this is a working artists studio, so while we do our best to keep it swept and tidy for the people we share it with, it may not always be in pristine condition! The washroom is located in the basement and is shared with the other studios, it's a public space and very basement-y, expect it to be absolutely and totally un-glamorous. Our landlords do not allow pets. We have water and a kettle on site, but bringing your own water bottle, travel mug, etc is a good idea. We have a few space heaters you can turn on to heat the space up if you need.
