The Renter is required to adhere to the following: - Purchase a minimum of $2 million in liability insurance with the following listed as an additional insured party: posAbilities Association of British Columbia If you don’t have a provider of your own, we recommend: Duuo Insurance www.duuo.ca/event-insurance - Act to maintain the image and reputation of the gallery and studio (must ensure they are aware of and follow (by)laws i.e. appropriate permits and licenses, most current health orders). - Act to maintain the safety and security of guests, participants, staff/ facilitators, and community members while at the studio or at collaborative events - Use the hanging system provided; not put holes in walls or posts. Do not use permanent adhesives on walls, window or any other surface in the Gallery or Studio. Damage deposit will be applied to cover the cost of repairs. *The studio shall arrange for repairs at Renter’s expense. - Ensure that after the completion of the Event, the Space is left in the same or similar condition as received, which includes a general cleanup of tables, counters, chairs, and washrooms. All furniture and fixtures are to be placed back in their original positions. *Please be aware the Studio charges if the cabinets are moved. *The Studio will apply an extra charge if the cleaning is outside the regular contract cleaning. - Be responsible for clearing all trash generated at the Event and depositing it in the proper waste and recycling receptacles on site. - Will not remove art or signage from the walls. Art may be hung in the provided space in the front gallery only. Art in the back studio is not to be moved from the wall space. - Follow all current Public Health orders issued by the Province of British Columbia as stated by the Provincial Health Officer
