Welcome to The Studio – A Versatile Creative Space in the heart of NYC
Located just off Herald Square, this 400-square-foot studio is my personal recording space, but its flexibility makes it ideal for a wide range of creative and professional uses. Whether you're recording a podcast, shooting photos or video (it's especially appropriate for music-related shoots), hosting a remote meeting, rehearsing, or simply need a quiet space to work, the studio adapts to your needs.
It's perfect for any remote worker: designer, photographer, architect, videographer, podcaster, any freelancer with a laptop. There is a BIG desk that you're welcome to use.
Key Features:
Centrally located just off Herald Square, near major subway lines: 1/3, N/R, F/M, A/C/E, and PATH.
Designed for comfort and functionality – think West Elm showroom with microphones.
Equipped with an isolation booth, professional recording gear, and tasteful lighting.
Four large-diaphragm mics ideal for podcasting or interviews.
Spacious desk for remote work, perfect for freelancers, designers, videographers, and more.
Freshly painted, newly carpeted, and tastefully furnished.
Medium-sized fridge, Keurig coffee machine (coffee included!), and a luxurious upholstered suede wall.
Audio Gear Available:
Apogee Duet audio interface, and a MOTU M4 interface (compatible with all the DAWs)
Microphones: I use the Neumann TLM 103 for most recordings, but we also have four PreSonus PD-70 for podcasts.
Guitars, keyboards, and studio monitors
Clients are welcome to use all gear, but please bring your laptop and software for self-engineered sessions.
Use of my computer requires booking me as your engineer.
Before confirming a booking, I usually like to have a brief chat - via the app, text, or a quick call- to make sure the space and gear meet your project’s needs.
Whether you're working solo or with a small team, the space provides a warm, professional, and relaxed atmosphere that's perfect for almost any creative project.
Check out the photos – they’re regularly updated, so what you see is what you’ll get.
It's a warm and comfortable space, great for one person or a small group for just about any purpose. I hope you'll love it.
