Mystic Sky Desert Ranch — Film & Photo Location, Landers CA
Five acres of open high desert with long sightlines toward Goat Mountain. Nothing enters frame that you didn't put there. Two hours from Los Angeles, twenty minutes past Joshua Tree village, minutes from our sister property The Mountain Vortex.
Interiors
Main house, large and light-filled, stone fireplace anchoring the living space. Multiple furnished rooms with distinct looks — no two setups read the same on camera. Kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms. Game room and lounge for a second interior look or crew holding.
Yoga and meditation studio: high vaulted ceiling, white walls, full A/C. Works as a clean-slate volume when you need controlled interior in desert heat. Dedicated bathroom and two showers off the studio — useful for talent changes and wardrobe.
Exteriors
Covered patio with graphic mural wall and uninterrupted desert views. Open desert on all sides for wides, drone work, and vehicle setups. Stone circles and desert landscaping across the property. Joshua trees and ocotillo throughout. Cowboy tub, jacuzzi, firepit, hammock circle. BBQ and indoor-outdoor dining.
Golden hour runs long with nothing on the horizon cutting it short. Night shoots get genuinely dark skies — no light pollution to fight, and the tub area is already practically lit.
