Welcome to the Loft! A creative space located in the heart of San Diego. The Loft is a perfect backdrop for all your Photography needs. The clean modern minimalist vibes were carefully designed to be the canvas for your creative visions. The Loft features creamy white walls, neutral colored decor, and large urban loft windows with beautiful natural light all day long. We know you'll love The Loft! Please note- there is a rental minimum of 2 hours. Please do not request 1 hour rentals. Photographers- we kindly request that you book directly rather than having your client book whenever possible. Setup and cleanup of your equipment and belongings must be completed within your booked period. There is no allowed early entrance or extended time to cleanup. Please be mindful there may be a booking scheduled directly after yours and ensure a prompt departure. Studio Dimensions & Shooting Space The main studio offers a spacious shooting area measuring approximately 23 feet long by 15 feet 8 inches wide, providing plenty of room for a variety of photography setups. The bedroom set area features a wall that is 7 feet 10 inches wide, creating a versatile backdrop for maternity, newborn, family, and branding sessions. In addition, there is a separate room measuring 11 feet 6.5 inches deep by 8 feet wide, which can be used as a changing room, client prep area, storage space, or for setting up props and equipment during your session. Lens Recommendations: 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm lenses all work well in the space. Most photographers find a 50mm to be the ideal everyday lens for the studio. The available shooting distance of up to 23 feet allows for full-body portraits, family sessions, maternity, newborn, branding, and headshot photography with ease.
