About the Space

This studio is located in the heart of Leslieville. Our 700 sq/ft open concept studio is perfectly suited for food and fashion shoots with an abundance of natural light and high ceilings. We have a full kitchen and offer onsite coffee and beverages. We are close to restaurants and bars that can provide great meals for your shoots. And we are situated directly across from Maple Leaf Park.

Parking description

Our courtyard has parking for 3 vehicles. In addition, there is metered parking on Queen St, just a short walk from the studio. There is also street parking but it is monitored regularly. Our landlord stops in from time to time to use the space next door. You may need to move a vehicle to accommodate theirs.

Lighting description

Studio has a huge south facing window that can be blacked out with the garage door. There is also a small window at the top of the south facing wall. This window cannot be blocked out.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

The studio is not noisy but it is not sound proofed. The heater and AC contribute to some noise, along with the neighbours.

Equipment loading description

The studio is accessed from one door. From time to time, the landlord may use the space next-door and therefore would require access to parking.

No staging area available

Some rooms are off-limits for shooting

The loft upstairs and the back of the studio are strictly off limits.

Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed

Electrical system description

Typical 100 amp, 120 volt 10 Outlets throughout the studio and kitchen Circuit breaker is behind back wall. Access can be provided to reset flipped breakers.

General Rules

No smoking. Outside catering is allowed. Alcohol is allowed. No loud music. Pets are allowed. All bookings include setup and teardown time. Furniture must be moved back to where you found it. If studio is not returned to its original state and requires extensive cleaning, a cleaning fee of $50 will be applied to credit card on file with Peerspace. Loft is strictly off limits. Back of studio is strictly off limits. No pornography. Smoke machines not allowed.

Production insurance is not mandatory, but suggested for your safety.

Furniture and decorations may be moved

Furniture cannot be removed from the building.

Security cameras and recording devices

For the safety or our guests, our courtyard is monitored 24 hours by security camera. Once inside, we have 3 Wyze security cameras throughout the studio.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures

Guests are asked to clean up and put any garbage in the provided garbage containers, bags tied and left in containers. Clean and wipe down kitchen surfaces, stove and prep carts. Dispose of remaining food or beverages. Leave nothing in refrigerator.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

Photographed a branding session at this space and the natural lighting through those windows was *chefs kiss*. Loved the way the light reflected in the room. The space was very clean and inviting, just like the photos. Jerry was a blessing to work with! From start to finish, he was top notch at responding to all my questions and was very accommodating to ensure we had a successful shoot. Would recommend this space to anyone looking for a chic aesthetic and would be honoured to book this space again!
