Whimsically Charming Art House

Built in the 1920s, this 3 bedroom home is filled with charm and sunlight. This summer , it was lovingly restored to highlight beautiful original features like crown molding, slate fireplace hearth and heart pine floors. As a mixed media artist and textile designer, styling and decorating this home has become a fervent passion of mine. Every visual detail in the home was intentionally curated and chosen by me and is still growing and evolving. Each room has a thoughtful color palette, playing up sun-washed pinks, deep neutrals and unexpected pops of color. Most furniture is curated vintage from mid century modern to fun 90s pieces. Throughout the home you’ll find soft silhouettes, whimsical details and of course lots of carefully collected and hand created art pieces. The space is fluid and ever changing and I welcome you to play around with furniture, art and lighting! This is a wonderful backdrop for intimate gatherings and celebrations. There is also a sweet little backyard with some grass, brick patio, a fire pit that may be used at your own discretion in warmer weather and tons of brightly blooming tulips and other flowers come springtime! The entire house is available for use I just ask that you give me an idea ahead of time what spaces you will want to work in. Please also note there is one cat resident in the home (Newman) he will almost definitely be hiding out but I ask that you be mindful of leaving doors and windows ajar. The space is regularly deep cleaned and vacuumed but may not be the right fit for someone with severe cat allergies or sensitivities. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions!
