The Ellis House, located in the heart of Central Alberta was built in 1908 and still preserves the elegant feeling of Victorian times. Updated with pieces true to time, it is a unique venue for photo and film, private events, business meetings, presentations, exhibitions, etc. This is a four story home, including the basement, with a bedroom, bathroom and lounge area, main floor with a dining room, music room, serving room, kitchen, covered deck and a full bathroom. The second floor has four bedrooms, one shared bathroom as well as a big open balcony. The attic is an open space available suitable for multiple uses. All the rooms are fully furnished and decorated. The house is located in downtown Red Deer. The city is excellently communicated with Calgary and Edmonton, and provides many accesible amenities and attractions such as a large park system accessible at only a few minutes walk. Professional cleaning is provided between bookings. Due to the delicate nature of the home as well of some of the historic pieces, guests are not allowed to wipe or clean without the consent of the host. Extensive cleaning may be accomodated upon request

Cancellation Policy

Standard 30 day

Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
