This charmingly rustic stone farmhouse was built in the early 1700s and has unique features, including custom barn door kitchen cabinets, a large fireplace equipped with a wood burning stove, 20" deep window sills, oiled wood floors and furniture that has been in our family for over 140 years. The house has central heating and cooling.
The kitchen and living room are on the first floor; three bedrooms, one bathroom and an office area are on the 2nd floor.
The side of the house is situated near the road. There is a barn and garage on the 13-acre property. The barn was build in the mid-1800s, and the garage was built in 2000, but using traditional timber-framing techniques and aesthetics. There is a wood-fired hot tub (open year-round) on the property, as well as a large Roman-shaped plaster pool, 16 x 37 ft, open seasonally, May 15th through September 30th. There is a privacy fence between the pool area and the road.
