Our 1912 heritage apartment is conveniently located in the vibrant South Granville shopping district, just a stone’s throw from Downtown and Granville Island. This bright, south-facing unit boasts 1,100 square feet of charming space, complete with unique nooks and original architectural details that evoke a timeless European elegance. Highlights include tall French doors in the wood-paneled dining room, a second bedroom with a New York-style iron fire escape, a functioning gas operated-wood look fireplace and original inlaid wood flooring. An organic mix of antique and modern furnishings & live plants along with a curated blend of interesting art and collectibles set the scene. The well equipped kitchen has black & white checkered flooring; our wide hallway is ideal for storing gear; and the 2nd bedroom as well as our den can be used as hair & makeup areas. Metered parking and 2 loading zone spots for easy drop-off is available right next to the building on Granville Street with various paid parking lots within a 2 minute walk. The building has an elevator. Various restaurants are close by for crew lunches. A selection of live plants from Kermodi on Main St is available for rent for larger productions (please request).
