THE SOCAL BOUTIQUE — tighter and more editorial. One to three people, three cameras. Built for interviews, executive one-on-ones, expert commentary and single-host episodes where you want the frame close and the background clean. THE OPEN FLOOR — the flexible corner. One to six people, three to five cameras, and this is the green screen wall, with the Blackmagic Ultimatte keying it live. I've been doing audio since I was twelve — volunteered at KBEACH college radio in 2005, ran programming as Assistant General Manager at 88.1 KKJZ HD3, and hosted on air for years before building this room. I'm usually the one on the board. If your audio is off, I hear it before you do, and I fix it while you're talking instead of after. THE HONEST PART, SO NOTHING SURPRISES YOU The studio is 500 square feet on the second floor and THERE IS NO ELEVATOR — one flight of stairs, about 20 steps, from the street door to the suite. If you're carrying heavy cases, tell me when you book and I'll meet you at the door to help. If stairs are a genuine problem for you or your guest, I also film on location at your office or venue — message me and we'll do it there instead. Restrooms are shared, multi-stall, on the same floor just outside the suite. Comfortable working capacity is four to six people including crew. This is a focused recording room, not an event space. Los Alamitos, four blocks off Katella. Ten minutes from Seal Beach, Rossmoor and Cypress. Fifteen from Cerritos and East Long Beach. Twenty from Huntington Beach. Evenings and weekends are wide open.
