About the Space
The Shirakaba House is a Frank Lloyd Wright Usonian—and Shibui-inspired home in West Michigan. It is on over 10 acres of forested property with prominent paper birch trees. The property sits on the nearby Cedar Creek and features many Japanese stone lanterns. A path makes walking and enjoying the forest behind the home easy. A separate treetop studio is also located above the garage offering beautiful views of the property.

Parking description
Our home is on a small gravel road a half mile off the main street. Parking is available in the driveway and front lawn area for up to roughly 8 cars.
General Rules
No smoking or pets allowed.
Please observe quiet hours between 10 PM and 7 AM.
No parties allowed.
All ages are allowed in the space
Security cameras and recording devices
We only have exterior cameras that look at the driveway. These can be turned off upon request.
Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
Professional cleanings occur between bookings to ensure the space is always disinfected and prepared for the next occupant.
Enhanced cleaning measures:
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
