As a nonprofit bookstore and community hub, we proudly host a wide range of events - writers’ groups and workshops, kids’ birthday parties (puppet shows available for extra cost), weddings and receptions, open mic nights, wellness classes like yoga and dance, and other creative gatherings. Our space is a beautiful sanctuary, surrounded by books, filled with natural light and designed to tickle your curiosity. THE SPACE The space is 1000 sq. ft. and equipped with a kitchenette (fridge and microwave), and bathroom. We have WiFi, TV, chairs, tables, and A/V speaker equipment on-site. - 55 inch Smart TV - 2 tables 24/24 inches - 3 tables 24/47 - 2 tables 30/71 - 1 table 30/96 - 40 chairs There is a lot of surrounding metered street parking and an affordable parking garage less than a 5-minute walk from our space. ADVERTISING UPON REQUEST If this is a PUBLIC EVENT, we'd be happy to promote it through our newsletter, which reaches approximately 500 people in Hoboken. This service is offered at no cost. FOOD & BEVERAGE POLICY -Alcohol is not permitted -Outside food catering is allowed and we have an on-site kitchenette. -No confetti or balloons with confetti inside. RATES $95/ hr We can accommodate up to 50 guests in our space. Set up and break down time must be included in rental time.

We make sure to disinfect all surfaces and appliances before and after your booking, which is included in our rental rate.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
