This home was reimagined by the creative mind of a retired ship builder and you will be charmed by his ingenious layering of materials and raw elements throughout the space. We are west facing and the dramatic full wall picture window provides unobstructed views of both of the San Gregorio and San Jancinto Mnt peaks as well as the Morongo Valley basin stretching out below you. There are rough edges and surprising touches of tile work throughout the space. It is truly a one of a kind memorable location that will remind you of the warmth and nostalgia of years gone by with a sense of hollywood glam. Our home features every kind of surface you can imagine that lend an incredible warmth and texture to your images. We have tile inlayed into beams and even metal trusses. There are a variety of sizes and angles of rough hewn wall boards in multiple shades of browns and textures. More tiles than you can possibly imagine. Brick that is actually just tile. Crazy huge windows in every room. So so so much texture indoors and out. And our views our incredible. you can see Jancinto and Gregorio. We face due west for outrageous sunsets out our picture windows in the main entertaining room with cathedral ceilings. Outside we have healthy cactus gardens and palo verde and tons of mature gorgeous Creosote. An awesome hammock zone and a newly acquired bohemian daybed. Wooden Lounge chairs as well as mexican string chairs. Just up the canyon you can reach a gorgeous little joshua tree grove on BLM land. Its very easily accessible from the house. There is also a quite cool shot up old truck that could make a great prop!
